Draka 6900 Singlemode Fiber Draka Singlemode Fiber is designed to provide optimum performance in both the 1310nm and 1550nm wavelength operating ranges, with a low dispersion in the 1310nm operating window. Draka's singlemode fiber can be used in loose tube, tight buffered and ribbon cable configuration. Draka Singlemode Fiber is designed to provide optimum performance in both the 1310nm and 1550nm wavelength operating ranges, with a low dispersion in the 1310nm operating window. Draka's singlemode fiber can be used in loose tube, tight buffered and ribbon cable configuration.

Although a common application of singlemode fiber is terrestrial long-distance networks, Draka's singlemode fiber has been specially optimized for access and enterprise networks, where high rates of transmission are becoming increasingly more prevalent. Draka 6900 Singlemode Fiber

Draka 6901 Enhanced Singlemode Fiber Draka Enhanced Singlemode Fiber (E-SMF) extends Draka's premium product portfolio. E-SMF is designed to provide improved performance accross the full 1300 to 1620nm region. Draka E-SMF meets the expanded ITU652 Table C requirements and is available in all Draka cable designs including loose tube, flextube and ribbon.

Draka 6910 Teralight Fiber (*only cabled fiber available in U.S.) Draka's Non-Zero Dispersion Shifted Fiber (NZ-DSF) is one of the most technically advanced fibers available on the market. TeraLight TM, optimized for wavelengths greater than 1440nm, has been specially designed for long-distance, high-bit rate transmission. It is optimized for 10 Gb/s and +40 Gb/s systems.

Draka 6911 TeraLight Metro Fiber (*only cabled fiber available in U.S.)

Based on the design breakthrough of Draka's TeraLight TM Non-Zero Dispersion Shifted Fiber (NZ-DSF), this new G.655-compliant fiber is specially optimized for metropolitan backbone applications. It is perfectly suited for uncompensated, narrow-channel, 10 Gb/s DWDM operation over typical metropolitan ring distances of 80 to 200 km. With guaranteed 1310nm operation, it also supports wide-deployed short length metro systems.

Draka 6912 TeraLight Ultra (*only cabled fiber available in U.S.)

TeraLight TM Ultra extends TeraLight's capabilities for the long haul and ultra long haul applications. As these networks evolve to higher bit rates (40 Gbit/s and higher) and longer distances (greater than 1000km), DWDM systems tolerances are stringent. This requires a very high performance fiber with low PMD, low attenuation and effective management of non-linear effects.
